This lithograph of a sportsman and his daschund is part of a series for Recreation, a vintage sporting magazine. Each month would feature a different activity. This month, February, showed snow shoeing, though other months showed seasonal activities such as sailing in July or swimming in August.
The details of this print are incredible, from the designs within the curling smoke to the criss-crossing of the wires of the snow shoes.
