Vintage French poster for the Cherbourg cruise line, a transatlantic line traveling France to America. The way this poster plays with perspective, the Empire State and Chrysler Building dwarfed by the majestic largesse of the Queen Mary 2, is classic of Razzia's distinctive style. Razzia, an acclaimed graphic designer, left his distinct artistic stamp on every poster he created.

"L'escale transatlantique. Quai de France." (The transatlantic stopover. The quay of France.)

Artist: Razzi

Year: c. 2000

Condition: Good, please note waves. The appearance of waves can be minimized by having the poster linen-backed.

This poster is on paper, but please note that we offer linen-backing for an additional cost. Email us at postermuseum@gmail.com to inquire more.
