This powerful poster by artist Max Eschle depicts a figure of a man who resembles the statues of the Nine Good Heroes represented by 13th century carvings in the Cologne city hall. In the distance to the right is the famous Cologne Cathedral, with the Rhine River passing into the mountains. To the left is the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, with scenes of German towns in the background. This poster was likely aimed at US tourists who planned to visit the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
