39 x 24 in (99 x 61 cm)
This beautiful original travel poster advertises a lovely commune outside of Paris. It was made in the 17th century and is known for its cathedral, shown here in a golden hour glow. The river bank shimmers as well, trees framing the side of the image. This is a distinctly 1930s travel poster, back when railways were the main method of transportation.
Artist: Charles "ALO" Halo
Year: c. 1935
Condition: Good, has a large tear in the bottom middle and some other minor tatters, espeically along the left side. Would benefit from linen-backing.
This poster can be linen-backed on canvas for an additional charge. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
