Strasbourg Chamonix Poster ✓

France, 1926

30 x 42 in (76 x 107 cm)

Vintage French travel poster announcing a new train line between Alsace-Lorraine and Savoie. Illustrated on the poster is a crude, black and white map of the path the train line will take from its first stop, Strasbourg, to its last, Chamonix. Two pink-toned female travelers pose on either side of the poster, clearly eager to commence their travels.

"Chemins de fer Paris-Lyon-Mediterranee & Alsace et Lorraine. Nouvelle relation directe Alsace-Lorraine et Savoie, Strasbourg - Chamonix.
