This vintage French poster is part of a series of posters advertising the possible travel locations reachable by France's state railways. This poster in particular highlights the attraction of the Manche region of France, which borders the ocean and the English Channel. Illustrated on the poster is a breathtaking view of a ship navigating through the water in the dead of night, only the full moon and its own searchlights interrupting the shadow of the grey sky.
