"Like One Who Wraps the Drapery of his Couch About Him, and Lies Down to Pleasant Dreams. / Body of Late President Harding Lying in the East Room of the White House, Attended by Guard of Honor"

Warren G. Harding was a Republican president from 1921-1923 and is known for his administration's various controversies. His political supporters backed him for a plethora of reasons, but one went on record to say that it was because he simply, "looked like a President." As this piece showcases only Harding's coffin after his untimely and tragic death, we will just have to give whoever said that the benefit of the doubt.
