This Italian poster reads "Votate per la Monarchia" or "Vote for the monarchy" and shows a photograph of Umberto II and his family. Umberto was also known as the "Re di Maggio," or the "May King" because he reigned for only 34 days, from early May to early June, 1946. That June, a referendum called for the abolition of monarchy; Umberto II had been the last King of Italy. 

Condition: Fair, some major folds visible and some discoloration, as well as small tears around edges, due to age.
