"Billions of light years away...out in space beyond the sizzling sun...in terrifying unknown worlds! The gigantic battle! Which race will win...and RULE the universe!"

Original poster for the American version of "Nebo Zovyot," a 1959 Soviet sci-fi film. Roger Corman acquired the Soviet film for US distribution and hired a young film-school student named Francis Ford Coppola to "Americanize" it. The names of the Soviet characters and their performers were altered on the screen to American-sounding names to disguise the film's origins: Aleksandr Shvorin and Ivan Pereverzev became "Andy Stewart" and "Edd Perry." The release print's designated director is credited as Thomas Colchart; sources vary on who that actually is.
