"A harassed school teacher from Hayes / Took her children to Hampton Court Maze, They got thoroughly lost / At a moderate cost / And then had a wonderful time admiring the Great Vine and imagining Henry VIll serving double faults on the Tennis Court. / It was easy to get there, too - Green Line Coaches 716, 716A, 718 and 725 run to the gates."

London Transport commissioned this poster in 1956 to promote leisure trips to Hampton Court. The school teacher's umbrella subtly casts a shadow in the shape of London Transport's roundel.
