"Milton Glaser was born in New York City in 1930. He studied etching with Giorgio Morandi in Bologna, Italy. He is a founder and partner of Push Pin Studios. / Miton Glaser has a large head. This may be a physical necessity rather than an accident of nature, simply to make room for the tremendous amoung of thoughts, ideas and images that occupy itsinner space...Milton Glaser is a designer-typographer and illustrator, but to call Milton an illustrator is giving in to a partial truth, much like calling Edison an electrician...The main catalyts of his progression have not been the stylistic changes of color and line alone but aspects of the Third Dimension. Milton's most exciting recent things explore perspective and space in every way... / Drawing and design have become one of through that long process of curiosity and experiment which, in a seeming contradiction, make the artist become simpler and more unique at the same time. Henry Wolf."
