TASS Windows" were large, hand-stenciled posters produced by the Soviet news agency TASS (Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union) during World War II. The initiative was launched quickly after the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941 to bolster support for the war effort.
The text at the bottom, which is a quote from a speech by Joseph Stalin in 1944, states: "The task now is to cleanse all our land of the fascist invaders and restore the state borders of the Soviet Union ALONG THE ENTIRE LINE, from the Black Sea to the Barents Sea".
