The anthemis plant is also known as chamomille, and has many benefits, including treating gastrointestinal conditions, helping with sleep and gum health, and even helping to treat cancer. It is also often used in tea.
This hand-colored copper plate engraving is part of a collection of prints from the book Figures of the Most Beautiful Plants Described in the Gardeners Dictionary, published by Philip Miller in London in 1770. There were multiple contributing illustrators, including Georg Ehret.
