This print was published in Japan by the Japanese Government Railways. Acting as a tourism advertisement, sakura cherry blossoms are shown at the top of the print, with an original color woodcut print by famous Japanese artist Shinsui, on the bottom. The print depicts “Dojoji,” a theatrical dancer. This lovely print is sure to inspire travel in the hearts of all.  The Dojoji scene is a separate print that can be removed and added, which is a rare feature of posters.
