United States Postal Service poster advertising the release of a memorial stamp for Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th president of the United States (1963-1969) following the assassination of John F. Kennedy, under whom he served as vice president. He is widely considered to have been successful during his time in office. The stamp was released in August, 1973, shortly after his death in January of 1973. Poster features a color photo of an oil painting of Johnson done by Elizabeth Shoumatoff in 1968, which was also used for the stamp design.

Condition: Please note vertical fold line and multiple horizontal fold lines, as well as creasing and tearing.
