NOT FOR SALE - Vintage print of Tightrope Walker, a surrealist lithograph by Spanish-American artist Federico Castellon. Castellon was Spanish-born and Brooklyn-raised, developing his style under the tutelage of Diego Rivera, who was working on the Rockefeller Center murals when Castellon had just graduated high school. Castellon is widely recognized as one of the first American surrealists and is best known for his graphic art in lithographs and prints. The original lithograph for this print here is held in the Whitney Museum permanent collection. SOLD
