"23e Salon des Arts Menagers / Grand Palais 25 Fevrier - 21 Mars"

The Salon des arts ménagers began in 1923 and was held annually until 1983. It was used as a way to show the French public new developments in appliances, furniture, and home designs. As department stores began to grow in popularity after the 1950s, the exhibition saw a decline of visitors. Artist Francis Bernard completed a variety of posters for the Arts Menagers. This particular one features a winged angel flying over a house.
