Promoting an exhibition at Poster America, a gallery in NYC, displaying the work of David Lance Goines. Goines was a graphic designer and typographist, most known for his posters for Chez Panisse, in Berkeley. His posters were inspired by German Art Nouveau and Japanese woodblock prints. Here, a close-up of a man looking at his pocket watch is in the distinct Goines style.
