The event began in 1916 by then mayor Édouard Herriot and continues to this day--sometimes in various global business hubs like London, San Francisco, and New York. This poster's design features an aerial view of the beachside exhibition hall--the Eurexpo Lyon in Chassieu. Event took place from April 23rd until May 2nd, 1949.
