"Cycles Strock"

An athletically dressed woman riding a Strock bicycle extends her arm like a wing, gesturing to the flock of white doves that have taken flight alongside her. This gorgeous art nouveau poster illustrated by artist Edouard Monge advertises the French company Cycles Strock at the turn of the 20th century. The image of the woman cycling is complete with a border of artistic interpretation of bicycle wheels and gears, illuminating the aesthetic and functional purposes of the bikes. At around 130 years of age, this poster is in great condition save for some small imperfections on the bottom border of the poster. The grace of the art nouveau style and the vibrancy of the poster's colors remain as appealing today as they were during the poster's original distribution.
