This original poster advertises travel to the Flanders region of France. This region is on the border of the Netherlands and though French is spoken there, many also speak Dutch. Published by Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Francais (SNCF), or the French National Railways, this impressionist-style picture shows a quaint village with a flowing river leading towards the town walls.
