"Raw Number Eight / The Graphic Aspirin for War Fever"

Raw was a comics anthology that ran from 1980 until 1991 and was heavily inspired by Robert Crumb's Weirdo comics, although differentiated itself by self-promoting as more intellectual. The eighth edition of Raw was the final number in Volume 1 and featured 'The Beginning of the End', 'Jimbo', and 'Raw Gagz' as well as another updated insert of Art Spiegelman's serialized book Maus (1986).

The entirety of the comic book is not shown--only the cover, first page, last page, and back cover of Edition 8 of Raw are for sale and are sold as attached pieces. Measurements for when booklet is closed are 15 x 11 in. Measurements for when booklet is open are 23 x 15 in.

Edited and created by Art Spiegelman and Françoise Mouly
