This sepia-toned travel poster was part of a series done to promote tourism across all the regions of France. L'Eglise de la Trinite (Trinity Abbey) is a Benedectian monastery from 1035 located in Vendome, France. It is known for its stunning gothic architecture and is one of the many historical structures in the Loir-et-Cher department of France. Pictured in front of the Abbey is an idyllic River scene with two kids playing in the packground and a man paddling his boat down the river. This is "Vue du Loir," a tributary from the Sarthe.
