El Hogar was an Argentine magazine, founded in 1904 by Albreto M. Haynes and was a best-selling magazine that often discussed social and political events of Argentine and Buenos Aires society. It adopted characteristics of an illustrated weekly with its interesting covers and and thought-provoking articles from minds like Enrique Méndez Calzada, Manuel Mujica Láinez, and Ernesto Mario Barreda.
