This comic for Le Rire has rich children being mean to Jesus as they ask for more toys while poorer children ask Jesus for bread.

Artist Adolphe Willette was a French illustrator and caricaturist who worked for the satirical magazine Le Rire and helped design the Moulin Rouge cabaret. While he ran as an 'anti-semitic' candidate in an 1889 legislative election, he luckily lost and returned to art so no one had to listen to his opinions.
