WQXR is New York City's only classical music radio station and includes a segment every week on recent performances of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, including interviews with musicians, guest artists, and conductors. This was one of the first occurrences of the partnership between the two, with the New York Philharmonic taking over WQXR for three days in April of 1982. Features a clever design of a conductor's baton with a dual purpose as a radio satellite.
