English artist Peter Phillips is known for his work that ranges from conventional oils on canvas to multi-media compositions and collages. His signature style is well displayed here.

This poster is one of a series of 24 for the 1972 Munich Olympics. They were all created by popular artists of the time, and were linked to that particular artist's visual identity. The artists were told to avoid the use of any red and black on them (which were traditionally associated with Nazi Germany).
