Original poster designed by Allan D'Arcangelo, a celebrated American pop artist. His work explored features of the American industrial landscape, commonly depicting images of highways, road signs, and airplanes. His paintings display a desolate landscape, hiding a subtle social critique behind his geometric compositions and detached aesthetic. Regarding his work, D'Arcangelo described himself as searching for "icons that mattered." Today, his work is held in collections internationally, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum, the Centre Pompidou, and the Tate.
