Harvard University hosted a lecture series on the fundamental issues in visual education with a lecture done by William S. Huff. Huff published widely, presented papers internationally, and gained world-wide esteem on architecture and design. Harvard's Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts was known for its extensive array on prolific lecturers.
