Artist - Lefor Openo

Lefor Openo is the pseudonym of two French illustrators, Marie-Claire Lefort and Marie-Francine Oppeneau, who met as art students in Paris and began working together on collaborative pieces in the mid-1950s. They were very prolific, creating a lot of poster art throughout the 1950s and 1960s, and with an impressively wide range of subjects. Their work can be found anywhere from official French government material, films starring Brigitte Bardot, and dolls and dishware based on their illustrations.
