Set in a drought-ravaged, post-apocalyptic Australia in the year 2033, the story follows Rebecca Buck, a rebellious tank driver. She joins forces with Jet Girl and a group of genetically modified kangaroo-human supersoldiers called Rippers to battle the oppressive "Water & Power" corporation, led by the villainous Kesslee.
