Slogan "A NEW VISION FOR AMERICA" at the top of the poster in white, "JIMMY CARTER / FOR PRESIDENT" below in blue and black. Carter would go on to beat incumbent Republican president Gerald Ford in a narrow victory, the first time an incumbent president had lost the vote since 1932.
