This poster advertises Vance or Towers' self-titled album release under A&M Records. The band's real claim to fame, however, is their appearance in the horror movie Carrie (1976) as the band that played at the doomed prom. Sorry for the spoiler if you have not seen it. They faded into obscurity shortly afterwards, but they were definitely killing it in a completely different way than Carrie did at that dance.
