"National Savings / Through the post office savings bank, the trustee savings bank, and national savings certificates"

The British National Savings Movement used government propaganda during WWII to encourage civilian financial support. This poster promoted saving through National Savings Certificates, the Post Office Savings Bank, and Trustee Savings Banks. Unlike more aggressive posters, this design features blooming rhododendrons and uses the slogan "Every season of the year is right for National Savings" to normalize regular saving as a patriotic duty.

Issued by the National Savings Committee, London, the Scottish Savings Committee, Edinburgh, and the Ulster Savings Committee, Belfast
