This poster promotes Komedianci, a play by Abraham Goldfaden (1840-1908) that was performed at the State Jewish Theatre of Warsaw. Goldfaden is considered the father of modern Jewish theatre because of his vast array of work while being a poety, stage director, actor, and playwright.
