"Words of the Stiffnecked People"
A social commentary on the religious condemnation that the LGBTQ+ community received while fighting for marriage equality before it was legalized in 2015 in the US. Artist Scott Terry used quotes from a variety of churches and religious figures to symbolize how 'stiffnecked' they were being, even though the Bible and many other religious texts specifically call out those who are stubborn and resistant to change.
Artist: Scott Terry
Year: circa 2000
Condition: Very good.
