This beautiful framed piece was used originally to promote the London Symphony Orchestra's premiere of Mlada, an opera-ballet in four parts composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov to a libretto by Viktor Krylov. The opera premiered in May of 1989 with Michael Tilson Thomas conducting.
