This framed poster advertises La Navarraise at the Théâtre National de L'Opéra Comique in Paris in 1895. The opera was written by Jules Massenet to a French libretto by Jules Claretie and Henri Cain. Opening night took place at Covent Garden in London in 1894. Emma Calvé is shown on this poster as she starred as the title role.
