Original poster for a performance of "Orpheus" by E. Fomin. The design is inspired by ancient Greek black-figure and red-figure pottery, featuring a figure of Orpheus playing a lyre within a large amphora vase motif. The performance was held at Башкирский Государственный Театр Оперы и Балета (Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater) and put on by Министерство Культуры БАССР (Ministry of Culture of the Bashkir ASSR).
