Original vintage print showing a photograph of Balny, one of the vessels in the French navy's Commandant Rivière class of frigates. These boats were designed to act as overseas patrols during peacetime and anti-submarine escorts during wartime. The photograph on the poster here is really something special: the boat looks majestic cruising in the vast blue sea.
