"Le Vigan des Cévennes (Gard), Centre de Tourisme, Grand Relais de L'Aigoual, (1567m)" (Vigan of the Cevennes (Gard), Center of Tourism, Big Relay of Aigoual.)
This lovely original travel poster shows a watercolor-esque scene of a quaint village called le Vigan, a commune in the Gard region of Southern France. The mountains of Cevennes get a feature here, advertising a relay that takes place on Mont Aigoual. This is an absolutely lovely scene, the old stone bridge reflecting over the river, leading to a medieval town. This design was famous and used initially about 10 years before this poster.
