This black and white poster features the Arena of Nîmes, an ancient Roman ampitheatre constructed around 100 CE. It was used for gladiator and animal fights, and today serves as the location for bullfighting at the annual Feria de Nîmes. It is considered one of the best-preserved Roman ampitheatres in the world.
