"Protecting a convoy in the Mediterranean. Men of an Indian warship ready at action stations. Ships of Royal Navy & Royal Indian Navy escort a convoy on their way to Sicily. From the cellection of David Weisman."
Original vintage poster detailing naval movements coordinated between the British Royal Navy and the Royal Indian Navy. The poster features a photograph of two naval soldiers looking out onto the water from their ship, the coast before them dotted with more naval ships. The scene is veiled in a mysterious and nervous atmosphere. Captions in foreign scripts like Hindi and Arabic surround the photograph. Definitely a one of a kind poster.
