"Bombs for the Boches. The End of Hun. The Star of Victory. The Enemy, 'The are sunk as fast as they are turned out.' Here you see the Hun and how he is 'strafed.' Here you see the load of depth bombs and what happens when they explode. Our Navy is on the job and Admiral Sir Lewis Bayly, under whose command a number of our destroyers operate, said 'I want to express my deep gratitude to the U.S. Officers and ratings for the skill, energy and unfailing good nature which they have constantly shown; qualities that have materially assisted the war by enabling the ships of the Allied Powers to cross the ocean in comparative freedom.' The Navy Promotes Men of Ability. A Chance For You."

Original vintage poster expounding on how the U.S. navy is succeeding on fighting back German "Huns." The poster serves the dual purpose of racketing up more support for the USN and advertising more recruitment opportunities for aspiring naval officers. This poster is a remarkable artifact of the American World War I war effort.
