"'The B-25 is most terrifying. We are repeating the failure of Guadalcanal. Most regrettable.' Japanese survivor of an Army Air Forces air attack at sea."

Original vintage poster commemorating the Battle of Ormoc Bay. The war photography featured here is positively chilling: the B-25 is flying in right behind the Japanese Akishimo Destroyer. Just moments after the photo was taken, bombs would be raining down on the warship—the final seconds before the whole ship sank.
