"WAR IN THE ARAKAN / MONSOON ENDED in Arakan, British and Indian troops are again forcing back the Japanese. Buthidaung was retaken in mid-December. At the same time forward troops were beyond Maungdaw and all territory abandoned before the monsoon had been re-occupied. These pictures show how the men fight through the Arakan jungles against almost overwhelming difficulties."
