American artist Paul Kohn worked mainly as an advertising art director, but was also a very avid painter, often working with oil pastels, acrylics, watercolors, and more to create an immense portfolio. His work also varies in its styles of expressionism, naivete, folk, and abstraction. While Kohn kept a low profile throughout his life, he managed to produce many beautiful works of art--ultimately proving that passion for a craft can produce enough enjoyment and satisfaction to fuel endless creativity.

While none of these women are Ina Garten, they are all without shoes, so any one of them could technically be a barefoot contessa.
