1964 re-election campaign poster for incumbent Republican senator Kenneth B. Keating, who held a seat in the U.S. Senate from 1959 through 1965. Poster features slogan "NEW YORK'S OWN! KEEP KEATING YOUR U.S. SENATOR" in red, white, and blue text alongside black-and-white portrait of Keating in front of a map of New York. New York union bug printed in bottom right. Born in New York, Keating labeled Democratic opponent Robert F. Kennedy a "carpetbagger" from Massachusetts. Keating ultimately lost the election to Kennedy.
