French Contemporary artist Dominique Fury was born in paris in 1953 and was part of the collective of French graphic designers Bazooka in 1974. Bazooka appeared in 1975 and was one of the greatest punk art collectives who led the way for many collectives likes theirs after their demise in 1980. They were made popular in the summer of 1977 when they were asked to grace the pages of Libération. During the 11th hour, right before the paper went to press they would make adjustments, and started adding increasingly provocative artwork and comments all over the paper. Paintings contain some silkscreened faces and an array of acrylic colors throughout.
