This poster was used by the U.S. government to promote World War I efforts by joining the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association). The United War Work Campaign was a one-week fundraising effort that gathered seven voluntary organizations that raised over $203 million in subscriptions and pledges to fund recreational activities for U.S. soldiers.
